About

about-webThe See Love Run blog is all about you!

It is about the love you have for each other as a couple, and about how to keep this love alive and sizzling.

I am the author of PAUL and me: A Journey to and from the Damascus Road, From Islam to Christ. The book was the number 4 best-seller on Amazon in religion books and was featured on National Public Radio, The 700 Club, Fox News, The Huffington Post, The Blaze, The Christian Post, the Associated Press, National Public Radio, the Australia News, and other media outlets across the world.

You might be asking yourself: Why should I read a blog about Marriage Advice from a Divorced Guy?

That is a fair question. Answer: Because we love the fresh, the storied, the experienced, and the counterintuitive. The answer may also lie here: If a man speaks his mind in a forest and there is no woman to hear, is he still wrong?

I was married for 16 years and have been divorced for 12. I feel my knowledge of both worlds has prepared me to share what to do, and more importantly, what NOT to do! I have shared my message with thousands of people across the country, and there always seem to be tears flowing and cheers abounding.

In See Love Run, I hope to help couples find that love they felt for each other at the start of the relationship — when they couldn’t wait to see each other again, and when they felt weak in the knees as they kissed. During the past three decades, love has run in all different directions for me, but I will never stop looking for that love that is second only to my love for God. In 1996, I converted from Islam to the love of Christ and basked in agape, the unconditional love we experience as we live this delicious life.

My goal with this blog is for couples to place love first in their lives. Together on this journey, we will learn how to give more than we take, how to lose the argument to win big, how to woo each other constantly, and how to fog up the windows every night! See Love Run discusses sex openly with must-haves, chemistry class, and time apart to increase seduction. We will make the neighbors wonder who the newlyweds next door are, even if you might have been married for thirty years.

I have produced four books, and I write regularly for Starnes Publishing, the Op/Ed page of the Birmingham News, B-Metro magazine, Birmingham magazine, Aramco World magazine and others. My photojournalism work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Sports Illustrated, People, Time, Southern Living, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and many others.

Join me on this journey as we aspire for our love to rule this life, and for our life to be all about the love we were created to experience.
